Circular based chemistry applied to textile innovation recognised at Interzum Forum Italy 2026

ERCA Textile Chemical Solutions is proud to celebrate the achievement of Boyteks, awarded 1st Prize in the Innovation Category at the Interzum Forum Italy Award 2026 with Enviro, an innovative textile treated with chemicals based on vegetable cooking oil.
Presented during Interzum Forum Italy, one of the leading international events dedicated to the furniture, bedding, interior design and textile supply chain sectors, the award recognises solutions capable of driving innovation, performance and sustainability across the industry.
For ERCA TCS, this recognition is particularly meaningful as REVECOL® technology is one of the key ingredient to the development of ENVIRO the award-winning project, alongside the work carried out by Boyteks in synergy with ERCA Kimya, ERCA Group’s sister company in Türkiye.
Developed through the upcycling of exhausted vegetable cooking oil, REVECOL® is ERCA TCS’s certified range of textile chemical auxiliaries for pre-treatment, dyeing and finishing processes. By combining high performance with circular economy principles, REVECOL® helps transform waste-derived resources into valuable solutions for the textile industry. The technology is supported by internationally recognised standards including ISCC PLUS, bluesign®, GOTS and ZDHC, and has demonstrated CO₂ emission reductions of up to 72% compared to conventional alternatives through Product Carbon Footprint analyses conducted with bluesign® ACADEMY.
The award received by Enviro by Boyteks highlights the growing demand for innovative solutions capable of combining performance, resource efficiency and sustainability. It also demonstrates how collaboration across the value chain — from textile manufacturers to chemical and technology partners — can accelerate the development of next-generation solutions and bring innovation successfully to market.
